Sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine combination
Indications : This medicine is used to treat malaria. This medicine may also be used to prevent malaria in people who are living in, or will be travelling to, an area where there is a chance of getting malaria. Sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine combination may also be taken with other medicines for malaria, or may be used for other problems as determined by your doctor.
Directions for use: For treatment of malaria 2 ?3tablets once, depending on body weight.
Pregnancy: Use is not recommended during pregnancy.
Side effects : Fever; increased sensitivity of skin to sunlight; irritation or soreness of tongue; skin rash, abdominal or stomach pain.
