Quinine
Indications: This medicine is an antimalarial agent used to treat malaria . It may also be used to treat nocturnal leg cramps and other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Directions for use: 10 mg /kg body weight three times the day in 7 ?10 days.
Pregnancy: May cause abortion.
Side effects: include diarrhoea, nausea, stomach cramps, or dizziness. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience blurred vision, ringing in the ears, flushing, rash, sore throat or fever, vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss, sudden onset of cold sweat, fatigue, shakiness, fast heartbeat, vision changes, confusion, personality changes, or difficulty breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
