Jetlag

Jet lag refers to disruption of your "body clock" and leads often to a condition of general malaise and reduced physical and mental performance if your travel covers more than three timezones in a short period of time.

General you will feel the problems harder flying west-east and it seems that it takes some more time for women to reset their body clock to the new time zone.

To help avoid jet lag:

Travellers who take medication according to a strict timetable (e.g. insulin, oral contraceptives) should seek medical advice.
